Water Access

Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza cannot access water from their own land. On the other hand Israelis and the Illegal Settlers in the West Bank have no such problem.

On average, an Israeli consumes 300 litres of water per day compared to only 70 litres for a Palestinian.
Over 50% of the Gaza’s children suffer from water-related parasitic infections.

  • 90% of the Palestinian water resources is controlled by Israel.

  • 97% of the Gaza Aquifer water is unfit for human use.

  • 20% of the water is given to the Palestinians in the West Bank.

  • 80% goes to the Isrealis and Illegal Settlers living in the West Bank.
