The Story.

We need your support more than ever to help protect against the dangers to Masjid Al-Aqsa and the apartheid in Palestine.

Palestinians have been reduced to poverty because of Israel's occupation and apartheid. Israel’s cruel system of control has resulted in home demolitions (over 131,000 Palestinian homes have been destroyed to make way for illegal Israeli settlements since 1948), torture of detainees, restrictions to earn a living and dangers to Masjid Al-Aqsa.

We want to see a Palestine that does not need humanitarian aid and charitable donations, but is independent, free and lives with dignity.

For this to happen we need to dedicate our support for an end​ to the actual occupation and apartheid.

We can only campaign affectively with your support.

Who are FOA?

Thanks to your help, for the last 25 years we have been at the forefront of the pro-Palestinian movement in the UK. We are an NGO demanding a political change for Palestine and we won't stop till this happens!

What do we work to end Israeli apartheid?

We raise awareness of Masjid Al-Aqsa and the Palestinians through media, lobbying, campaigning and general public awareness programmes. It is so important for us to make people aware of their impact through action in making a change.

Over the last 25 years we have successfully run effective campaigns (includes distribution of free literature and ambitious street actions), which has changed the discourse on Palestine in the UK. 

One of the ways we raise important awareness is through our mostly free events. We have organised over 1000 events explaining and promoting the rights of the Palestinians. This has included the extremely successful Palestine Expo, which attracted over 25,000 people in both 2017 and 2019 as well as having over 350,000 people tune to the online version in 2020. Seeing so many people attend showed us the sheer love that is out there for Palestine!

How will your donations help?

• Campaigns– we run effective campaigns to raise awareness, build support and implement change

• Palestine in Parliament – we work with MPs, councillors and policy makers so they can make better decisions for Palestine

• Events - we have hosted over 1000 events for people to learn and get active for Palestine, including Palestine Expo

• Educational material - we have distributed over 4 million pieces of literature to the British public 

• Students – we support and encourage students on campuses across the country to get active for Palestine
