Administrative detention (AD) is when Palestinians are arrested by Israeli Occupation Forces and held indefinitely, without charge or trial, on the grounds that they might commit an offence in the future. Israel’s use of administrative detention violates international law.
As of October 2022 there were over 800 Palestinians suffering from this in Israeli prisons.
