There are 2.3 million Palestinian children living under Israeli occupation. They are repeatedly targeted, killed and their human rights are violated by the apartheid state of Israel. Yet a culture of impunity surrounds Israel’s actions. Israel must be held accountable.
In 2022 Israel killed 34 Palestinian children in the illegally occupied West Bank, making it the deadliest year for Palestinian children in the West Bank for 15 years. One of the most recent victims was 15-year-old Nouruddin Husam Yousef Marshoud from Jenin who was shot in the head by Israeli forces during Israel's brutal attack on the city on 3rd July 2023.
Outside prison, Palestinian children face terrifying near-daily night raids on their homes and regular attacks from Israeli settlers and Israeli Occupation Forces on their way to and from school
In 2021 86 Palestinian children were killed in illegally occupied Palestine, making it the deadliest year for Palestinian children since 2014. One of the most recent victims was 12-year-old Mahmoud Khalil Samoudi from Jenin who was shot in the stomach by Israeli Occupation Forces and died on 10th October 2022. Using lethal force against children is a violation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child
